Flood Tube Quality Matters when being used as a flood barrier.

The water filled flood tubes are also commonly known as water diversion tubes. Our Water Filled Flood Tubes are made to last because they are manufactured from heavy-duty PVC fabric that is designed to be ecofriendly, re-usable, and a great sandbag alternative. If you are flooding to purchase any sort of flood tube and you want it to last more than 1 or 2 deployments, it is important that it is comprised of a robust material like PVC fabrics.

The easy-to-use flood barrier tubes are made from durable PVC that helps protect your home, business or jobsite from water damage. Use water to fight water and have an amazing quality of being able to conform to uneven surfaces. There is not messy sand or beady gel substances inside and this product.

When the flood threat has passed, drain the tubes and store for later use.

These tubes come with brackets to hold them in place and are best used on concrete, paved, or hard surfaces. They also work well on grass but for soft and porous surfaces, a liner of plastic sheeting would be necessary.

Flood Defense Group embraces the use of Water Filled Flood Tubes for floodwater of about 14” or below. We have taller options but we feel this is the ‘sweet spot’ in providing great function at economical rates. We can achieve greater heights but after 14” in protective height, these tubes require significantly more water, a wider base, and a thicker fabric that is more expensive.

These tubes are NOT to be used on sloped surfaces or within areas of violent wave action. If building this product on sand, soil, or soft surfaces, advanced preparation must take place by using an impermeable membrane to prevent underseepage.
